Jordan Brand’s “Reimagined Series” will continue and update the legendary Jordan 4 silhouette and BRED colorway. Scheduled for February 17th 2024, the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” will adopt the iconic black and red colorway alongside classic Jumpman branding on the tongue, heel counter, and insole.
However, fans can expect a material change as the “Reimagined” version of the AJ4 “Bred” will feature aged and distressed detailing on the upper, giving the iteration a “classic” look.
Material Comparison
For comparison, in 2019 the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” features a black Durabuck (synthetic nubuck) upper with grey, red, and white accents throughout. However while this material is considered “premium” by Nike, fans did not agree. On the other hand, the 2024 “Reimagined” release is expected tom have premium leather. Note, this can mean that synthetic leather may be used but the feel of the material should meet customer expectations for premium leather.
